The Franciscans International and Dominicans for Justice and Peace delegation at the UN Sub-Commission on Promotion and Protection of Human Rights was active in raising the human rights situations in Mexico and Pakistan in addition to the issue of sanctions against Iraq. It also addressed the issues of the rights of indigenous peoples and economic and social rights for all people.
